Eddie Redmayne Transforms Into 'The Danish Girl' on Set

Eddie Redmayne wears a wig and a costume while filming a scene for his role as the world’s first transgender woman in The Danish Girl on Wednesday (March 25) in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The 33-year-old actor has been working on the film all month long and he was seen the week before wearing a beige suit and getting beat up for a scene.

The movie is “inspired by the lives of artists Einar and Gerda Wegener, whose marriage takes a dramatic turn when Einar (Redmayne) decides to become the world’s first transgender woman, Lili Elbe,” according to THR.
