Vanessa Hudgens Opens Up on Being Gay Rights Advocate

Vanessa Hudgens does a yoga stance while attending Kohl’s exclusive Gaiam apparel launch event at High Line on Thursday (April 23) in New York City.

The day before, the 26-year-old actress was seen engaging in a conversation with fans while arriving for a performance of her Broadway show Gigi at the Neil Simon Theatre.

Vanessa recently shared her thoughts on being an gay rights advocate.

“People can be very close-minded and I think it’s not right. I don’t think it’s fair,” Vanessa shared. “I think it’s important for us to stand up for people and to have each other’s back, and to be involved with the gay community and support the community.” Watch the video below!

She added, “I’m a very open person. Love comes first for me. I don’t see people as gay or straight.”
