Jeff Daniels Joins Shailene Woodley's 'Divergent' Series

Jeff Daniels is in final talks for a role on the upcoming films Allegiant Part 1 and Part 2 in the Divergent series, starring Shailene Woodley and Theo James, according to THR.

The 60-year-old actor would take on the role of “David, the leader of the Bureau of Genetic Welfare. The agency is behind the creation of the societies that Tris was living in and the reason behind their creation is slowly revealed (mainly in Part 2) to be nefarious.”

If you weren’t aware, Allegiant Part 1 will start shooting in May this year.
