Demi Lovato Explains How Wilmer Valderrama Kept Her Sober

Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama are a couple in black while heading out for a casual lunch at La Esquina on Tuesday (May 12) in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood.

The 22-year-old entertainer and the 35-year-old actor were joined on the outing by their pet pooch.

Demi recently opened up about how Wilmer has helped her stay sober.

“There were some moments when it was off and on when I was struggling with my issues,” she said on Sydney’s Kyle and Jackie O show to KIIS 106.5. “What he would do is he wouldn’t enable me so he’d say, ‘I can’t be around if you’re not going to get your stuff together.’”
