Harry Shum Jr Joins 'Shadowhunters' Series As Magnus Bane

Congrats, Harry Shum, Jr.!

It was just announced that the 33-year-old former Glee star will portray Magnus Bane on ABC Family’s upcoming Shadowhunters TV series!

Magnus Bane is the “high warlock of Brooklyn. With eccentric style, he’s fierce, cunning and keeps his cards close to his chest. Though he looks like he’s in his 20s, he’s hundreds of years old � which makes him wiser and wary of others.”

Harry joins Katherine McNamara (Clary Fray), Dominic Sherwood (Jace Wayland), Alberto Rosende (Simon), Matthew Daddario (Alec Lightwood), Isaiah Mustafa (Luke Garroway) and Emeraude Toubia (Isabelle Lightwood).
