Carly Rae Jepsen Wants To Shine Attention On Her Other Songs From 'Emotion'

Carly Rae Jepsen heads out of the Sirius XM radio studios with a smile on her face in New York City on Tuesday afternoon (May 19).

The 29-year-old singer chatted up her upcoming album, Emotion.

“I’m trying to think of the success of this album as me feeling confident about my choices � if they do well, then great. If they get shat on, well, as long as I’ve felt good about them, then that’s the success for me,” she recently shared with The Guardian.

Carly Rae added, “Even with ‘I Really Like You’ I was like, ‘I hope it works but I hope it doesn’t work too well because I want to move on.’ I really want to learn from that and shine attention on to these other songs.”
