Enzo Will Be Caught Between Salvatores in 'The Vampire Diaries' Season Seven

We have a long summer to endure before The Vampire Diaries comes back.

But luckily, we found some scoop on season seven that will hold us over for a bit.

According to executive producer Caroline Dries, Enzo (Michael Malarkey) will have a much bigger storyline in the Fall – more specifically, right in the middle of the war between Lily and her sons Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder).

“He’s eventually going to have to choose a side,” Caroline told TVLine.com. “In some ways, he feels drawn to Lily; she turned him and she’s the only real family he has. But he’s also friends with Damon, so it’s going to create an interesting dilemma, and whichever side he chooses will have serious ramifications.”
