Elle Fanning Shops The Farmer's Market After Joining '20th Century Women'

Elle Fanning can’t wipe the smile from her face while out in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon (May 31).

The 17-year-old actress headed to the Farmer’s Market with her mom Joy to pick up some fresh goodies.

It was just announced that Elle has joined 20th Century Women, opposite Greta Gerwig and Annette Bening.

The flick stars Annette as Dorothea Fields, a mother who’s trying her best to raise her teenage son, Jamie and taps the wisdom of two other women in her life, each from a different era of the 20th Century. They all try to set her son on the right path to becoming a man.

Greta will play Abbie, a sophisticated photographer submersed in the punk culture of the era who is forced to return to her home town and ends up living with Dorothea, while Elle will pay Julie, a 16-year old smart and secretively provocative friend of Jamie’s who challenges Dorothea.
