Maddie Ziegler Doesn't Consider Herself A Celebrity

The 12-year-old dancer opened up about working closely with Sia, her appearance on SNL and just who’s style she’s crushing on. Check it:

On working with Sia: “I really enjoyed getting to work with her, because she is so down to earth and so sweet. She’s pretty much my family now. We did three videos together which is so cool, and hopefully we’ll do more� I definitely want to grow up to be like her. She is so well known, but such a sweet person. She’s humble and caring. You would never think she’s a celebrity.”

On Sia’s advice: “Always stay humble and don’t get cocky, because it’s annoying when people are like that. She also said to never work too hard. It’s good to keep dancing every day, but if you aren’t passionate about it, don’t do it.”

On dancing with Kristen Wiig on SNL: “For me and Kristen, we just had that little tiny stage with all that stuff filled in the set. It was hard to move. There were so many things. And she had, like a ballet coach, stretch her. She’s so funny too. She’s hilarious.”

On her personal style icon: “I really like Zendaya’s style. She’s kind of tomboyish, but still girly at the same time.”

On being considered a celebrity: “It’s really cool but overwhelming. Celebrities know me now, and it’s funny. But I don’t consider myself a celebrity.”
