Mollee Gray Opens Up About New Lifetime Thriller 'Double Daddy' (JJJ Interview)

Mollee Gray gets us pumped for her latest project Double Daddy in this brand new interview with JustJaredJr.com!

The 24-year-old actress told us all about her character, working with Cameron Palatas and Brittany Curran, and more. Check it out below!

In case you don’t know, Double Daddy follows 16 year-old Amanda (Gray) who learns her boyfriend Connor (Palatas) has impregnated a new girl (Curran) at school, she is shocked. Amanda soon discovers that she too is pregnant.

Even though Connor is doing everything he can do to be there for both of his teen moms, this high school drama takes social backstabbing to a whole new level.

Double Daddy premieres THIS Saturday, June 6th @ 8PM ET/PT on Lifetime.

JustJaredJr.com: Tell us about your Double Daddy character Amanda!

Mollee Gray: Amanda is your typical girl next door! She is very practical and realistic, but when she comes back from summer camp, her world is turned upside down when she finds out she is pregnant!

JustJaredJr.com Interview – Mollee Gray

JJJ: Did you know Cameron Palatas and/or Brittany Curran before filming? What was it like working with them?

MG: No I didn’t! But they easily became two of my really close friends! It was so awesome working with them. It was great on set because Double Daddy is such a dark movie, but all three of us are goof balls, so we were able to keep a happy, lighthearted spirit in between takes!

JJJ: It does look pretty intense. Are you a fan of thrillers?

MG: I love thrillers! Double Daddy is very suspense driven, so if you are a thrill-seeker you are going to love this movie!

JJJ: How did you prepare for some of those more emotional scenes?

MG: I think with this character, Amanda, I was able to really put myself in her position and feel what it would be like to go through her experiences. She has a lot of battles in this movie, and I just imagined being in her shoes. It was pretty rough.

JJJ: What was it like wearing a fake baby bump around set?

MG: Haha! Oh man! It was sooo strange! It looked and felt incredibly real. I sent the pictures to my mom and dad, and they freaked out! Such a great prank! :)

JJJ: What is your favorite memory from filming?

MG: My favorite memory was just being on location in so many beautiful places! We had very early call times, but it made it so easy knowing I was doing something I love with some really cool people!

JJJ: Describe the Lifetime movie in 3 words!

MG: Relevant, family thriller!
