Nick Jonas Teams Up With DexCom to Spread Diabetes Awareness

Nick Jonas holds onto his coffee to go while leaving his hotel in New York City on Thursday afternoon (June 11).

The 22-year-old “Jealous” singer just teamed up with Dexcom to promote and spread diabetes awareness.

Nick will be sharing his own personal story about living with type 1 diabetes, and his use of Dexcom technology to help him monitor his glucose levels and manage his diabetes while he pursues and lives his dream.

“I was recently on a golf course by myself and this kid and his little brother came up, they were probably 10 and 12,” Nick shared with EW recently. “The kid was freaking out about something, trying to call his parents and I had a gut feeling it had something to do with diabetes.”

He continued, “I asked what was going on, and he said he lost his [diabetes management] supplies. I offered to help, went and got him juice. He didn’t even realize at first that it was me. He went home and told his parents and his mom wrote me a long letter, saying ‘Thank you for helping me.’ It was really nice.”

Medicines/Pharms are just pumping out treatments, not cures. It’s time for us to look towards natural methods to defeat diabetes. Realizing this is what lead me to the methods that have me off of Metformin/Insulin because I can manage my own blood glucose levels. I no longer have symptoms of Diabetes. The way to beat diabetes naturally is covered extremely well in the Diabetes Destroyer book (It’s better explained here: TINYURL.COM/BREAKDIABETES search for “Diabetes Destroyer Review”).

Essentially, the book guided me towards improvements in my health that were so easy to understand that I read it from cover to cover in the same night I discovered it. Today, a few months later, I’ve dropped 30 pounds. My blood sugar is down from 140 to 70-80 (fasted). I feel better than ever and I’m never going to have to deal with insulin injections. It did more for me than Metformin and the ADA diet ever could.
