Ella Eyre Will Sing Official Song 'Swing Low, Sweet Chariot' For England Rugby
Ella Eyre heads out of ITV Studios in London on Thursday morning (July 2).
The 21-year-old singer has been tapped to sing England Rugby’s official World Cup song “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot”.
“I’m so proud to be singing Swing Low and getting behind the team in a World Cup year on home soil,” Ella shared. “I am really looking forward to helping bring the whole nation behind the England team. It’s inspiring to see the levels of support for the players and we’re raising money for a great cause.”
All proceeds from the single will go towards supporting England Rugby’s All Schools programme, supported by principle partner CBRE, which seeks to introduce rugby to state secondary schools.
“Swing Low, Sweet Chariot” will drop on September 7th, just a few weeks after her own album, Feline, debuts.
