Jordin Sparks May Record A Country Album In The Future
Jordin Sparks shows off her pearly whites during her Right Here, Right Now album signing held at Century 21 Downtown in New York City on Friday afternoon (August 21).
Earlier in the day, the 25-year-old stopped by Bandier for a fun fitness class before more album promo duties.
Speaking with EW, Jordin revealed that one day, you may hear a country album from her!
“I love country music,” she shared. “One day I will do a country albumI will. The timing will just have to be right.”
While we’ll have to wait for a full album, Jordin has already teamed up with Thomas Rhett for a duet called “Playing With Fire”.
“The song itself is beautiful. It’s called ‘Playing With Fire’ and it’s a ballad that’s just so great.” She recorded her parts with Rhett in the studio in Nashville, and received a surprise visitor during the session. “Reba [McEntire] walked in when I was doing my part! She listened to itthat was actually pretty nerve-wrecking, having someone like her listen to your song when it isn’t even finishedbut she loved it. I can’t wait for people to hear it.”
