Taylor Swift is usually the one handing out surprises on stage during her 1989 Tour…but the table was flipped during her concert at Staples Center in Los Angeles on Friday night (August 21).
The 25-year-old “Bad Blood” singer was surprised by LA Lakers player Kobe Bryant, who was on hand to reveal Taylor‘s own banner at the venue for most sold out performances there.
“Congrats on record setting 16 sold out shows @taylorswift, most by any artist in the history of STAPLES Center! For that we raise a banner in your honor! #1989TourLA,” Staples Center posted on Instagram.
Taylor added after the concert, “Tonight @kobebryant surprised me with a banner in @STAPLESCenter for the most sold out shows. You did that. Love you.”
“My pleasure @taylorswift13 Keep breaking records and changing lives #1989TourLA,” Kobe wrote on Twitter.
