Olly Murs To 'Fabulous Mag': 'Caroline Flack & I Didn't Nick Dermot O'Leary's Job'

Olly Murs screams out on the cover of this weekend’s Fabulous magazine.

The 31-year-old “Wrapped Up” singer and X Factor host chatted with the glossy about his new gig, his girlfriend Francesca and more. Check it:

On his twin brother Ben: “It’s still the same. It’s a shame, but it’s not changed. He decided not to speak to the family, he changed his number, changed his address… We don’t know where he is, we have no way of contacting him, and that’s his decision, not ours…Nan passed and they always say when someone dies people come out of the woodwork…No, [he didn't go to the funeral]. He just doesn’t want a relationship with us.”

On taking over for Dermot O’Leary as host for X Factor: “I spoke to Dermot on the phone the night before we were being announced, and he was brilliant. I wanted to speak to him because I felt the way it [Dermot's departure] was interpreted was a bit harsh. Dermot wanted to leave, it was time, we didn’t nick his job. But in a way it was like cheating one of your mates, so I think the fact he called me and we spoke about it made me feel a lot better about the decision…He said that me and Caroline were the only two people he would have loved to get the job. He told me: ‘I think you’re great, I love you both and if you need my help or advice or want to have dinner and understand things better, come and speak to me.’”

On keeping his relationship with Francesca low-key: “She has a normal job and it’s important she has her own life. I can deal with the job I have, I can deal with the press, the people abusing me on Twitter… I’ve been doing this for six years, I’m used to it. But we try to keep things private so Francesca can have a normal life. That’s why I like her and find her attractive. I don’t want her to be plastered in newspapers and everyone to know what we’re up to.”
