OlderElla Eyre Wants to Inspire Girls to Appreciate Their Bodies the Way They Are
Ella Eyre lets her hair run wild while singing on stage at the 2015 Bestival on Friday (September 11) in Isle Of Wight, England.
The 21-year-old British performer recently opened up about her sense of style.
“For me, being an artist is more about you as a person,” Ella told The Standard. “People want to buy into your beliefs and your values, so the way you look is representing you.”
She added, “We’ve moved into an era where being curvy and strong and fit is the thing. I wear the clothes that I’m comfortable in and make me feel great. I’m not model-skinny like a lot of the girls in the media and that’s something I’ve had to come to terms with, but there are lots of girls who feel insecure because of what they see in the media and I want to actively inspire everyone to appreciate the way they are.”
