The 14-year-old 100 Things To Do Before High School actress shared the song with her fans on Twitter and JJJ has the exclusive debut of the lyric video, directed by Kurt Csolak.
“I covered ‘Halo’ because I love Beyonce, and it sounded good with a lot of my favorite instruments, like the uke. And I figured I’d post it in honor of the Halo awards this weekend,” Isabela told JJJ. “It’s my little congrats to all the nominees who do so many more amazing things than me! I filmed it in The Hamptons, New York, because it feels so serene there. It’s always quiet and lovely by the water, I figured, why not?! From the time I used to be in Evita on Broadway and I loved hanging out there at my friends’ house, the Federicos.”
She added, “Filming this video was so much fun. My good friend Kurt Csolak filmed it. He came in the morning and we sort of hung out all day with my friends at the Hamptons. We went out on the boat, did all kinds of fun things like tubing! We just picked random spots where I’d sing the song, play the uke, and enjoy nature. Sort of trying to capture the goodness all around us!”
