OlderElla Eyre Admits She Could Be 'An Idiot' On Social Media
Ella Eyre gets cheek to cheek with boyfriend Lewi Morgan outside the German Gymnasium Restaurant Opening Party in London, England on Thursday night (November 12).
The 21-year-old “Together” singer recently spoke to Telegraph about today’s social media and the pressure teens face with it.
“I kind of feel fortunate because I feel l’ve just escaped a really terrible time period,” she shared. “Had I have discovered Snapchat, I probably would have got myself into trouble. Luckily I didn’t go through the tight clothes craze but that’s already so much of a thing. I saw a girl in a crop top and heels the other day and I swear to god she was 10. It’s scary. I really feel for younger girls.”
Ella added about her own use of social media in the past, “I can be an idiot – I can say the stupidest things. I’ve had to reel it in. I swear a lot. I’ve had to stop that. You’ve either got kid learning about swearing or parents being angry about it. You can’t win. Sometimes when I get mad about things I do like to have a rant on Twitter. But I have to think that’s not appropriate for the public.”
