5 Seconds of Summer's Michael Clifford Calls Calum Hood 'The Perfect Bassist'

Luke Hemmings of 5 Seconds of Summer carries his guitar out to a waiting car after arriving on a flight at LAX Airport on Sunday night (November 15) in Los Angeles.

The 19-year-old Aussie rocker and his bandmates – Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin – appear on a special new poster edition of Rolling Stone Australia.

“Half of our live shows isn’t about nailing the exact notes,” Michael told the mag. “We’ve never been that type of band; we all f-ck up, and we’re always making mistakes on stage. Except for Calum, he’s the perfect bassist.”
