G Hannelius Joins A+E's 'Roots' Remake As Missy Waller

G Hannelius just booked a major new role!

The 16-year-old actress, who you know from Dog With A Blog, will star as Missy Waller in A+E’s upcoming, eight-hour event miniseries Roots, Deadline reports.

A remake of the iconic 1977 mini series, the project centers on one man’s mission to trace his lineage and spanns multiple generations, which begins with young Kunta Kinte (Malachi Kirby), who is captured in his homeland of The Gambia and transported in brutal conditions to colonial America, where he’s sold into slavery.
