Alex & Sierra Reflect On Winning 'X Factor' Two Years Ago

Has it really been two years since Alex & Sierra won X Factor?!

The duo took to Instagram to reflect on the past two years and what’s ahead in their future.

“Today officially marks two years since we won x factor!!! ???? there’s a lot about the music industry we didn’t expect and we’ve been learning something new every day. we’ve had to battle the stigma of being ‘puppet pop singers who won a tv show’ and prove we write our own music and play instruments and perform live. and while we’ve had some not great experiences with suits, we are beyond grateful that we get to support ourselves and our families by playing music and doing what we love,” they wrote.

Alex and Sierra added, “We went from being the background noise at restaurants nobody cared to listen to, to releasing an album that charted #8 on billboard, playing radio city music hall, traveling the world, and so much more. thank you for joining us on our adventures and we promise there is so much more to come from us. we’ll show you.”
