Taylor Swift Explains 'Blank Space' Inspiration, Performs Awesome Acoustic Version (Video)

Taylor Swift singing with just her guitar is something we love to watch and this new acoustic performance of “Blank Space” is on repeat right now for us!

The 26-year-old singer delivered the stripped down performance during an intimate show back in September at the Grammy Museum to celebrate her exhibit’s record-breaking attendance.

Taylor talked about how the inspiration for the song was the media’s portrayal of her as a serial dater.

“My first reaction was like, ‘This is a bummer. This isn’t fun for me,’” Taylor said. “But then my second reaction ended up being like, ‘Hey, That’s a really interesting character they’re writing about. She jet sets around the world collecting men…then she traps them and locks them in her mansion, and then she’s crying in her marble bathtub surrounded by pearls. So I was like, ‘I can use this.’”

Make sure to watch the awesome electric guitar version of “Wildest Dreams” as well!
