AnnaLynne McCord is 'Painfully Shy' When it Comes to Love

Here’s what the 28-year-old 90210 actress opened up about in her feature:

On why she almost quit acting: I actually was considering quitting acting when I got that job (Referring to her breakout role on the 90210 reboot). I thought about just going back to New York, being a barista, going to college and finding out what I could do in this world to really make a difference. The producers from 90210 kept calling to offer me the job and it wasn’t until a friend of mine called me, that I realized that if I took the job it would allow me the platform and opportunity to really do something important outside of acting.

On staying relevant: Hollywood is an industry where you’re hot one minute and cold the next. Staying relevant is a continual thing. Being able to ride those waves is what being a fearless artist is about. Luck is for the ill prepared.

On her outlook on love: I’m painfully shy with men I like. I’m all in with a casual relationship but petrified of intimacy and getting too close to someone. As a 28 year-old woman, I want a partner. I want to be with someone where I can be totally free.
