“Come with us now on a journey through space and time. Oh to experience such a vicious zest for life and living! Oh to find your authentic self in a society that prides itself on suppressing primal human instinct and exhibits its mastery in the fine fine art of cultural conditioning! Oh to cleanse your perception and see beauty in all that exists, in the ripples of the water and the colors of the sky, in the wondrous smoke of a deathly cigarette and maybe even the paint on the back of a man’s leather jacket! Oh man! Oh man! Can a poem save the world? What a peculiar time to be alive, he thought from the sky! – CS,” he wrote.
