“This little guy lived to be 15 years old. I remember when he ran into a restaurant my family was eating at when I was in 5th grade. He was mess and his fur was all knotted with twigs and he was in desperate need of a bath,” the 17-year-old actress recalled in a touching post on Instagram.
Peyton continued, “The owner of the restaurant said he had been running around for weeks and that she was taking him to the pound. Instead we took him in and hung up signs everywhere trying to find his owner, no one ever claimed him. I was so happy to have him as my own. Soon enough he was traveling with me everywhere and we had become attached. I remember on a flight from NYC to LA I went to sneak him some food in his bag and he escaped out of the bag and started running all throughout the plane.”
“We liked to joke that he went from the streets to Hollywood. He was always a handful and was always there for me. Love you Winnie ???? RIP baby,” Peyton added.
