Italia Ricci Heads For White House In 'Designated Survivor'

Italia Ricci is headed to the White House for ABC’s new series, Designated Survivor.

The 28-year-old actress has booked a role on the upcoming project along with Kal Penn, Kiefer Sutherland, Natascha McElhone and Maggie Q, Deadline reports.

Designated Survivor centers on Tom Kirkman (Sutherland), is a lower level United States Cabinet member, is suddenly appointed President after a catastrophic attack during the State of the Union kills everyone above him in the Presidential line of succession.

Italia will play the no-nonsense Chief of Staff, Emily.
