Vanessa Marano To Return As April Nardini on 'Gilmore Girls' Revival

You heard right — Vanessa Marano is on board for Netflix’s revival of Gilmore Girls, JJJ can confirm.

The 23-year-old Switched At Birth actress starred as April Nardini, the surprise daughter of Luke Danes (Scott Patterson) and Anna Nardini on the original show during seasons six and seven.

The last we saw April, she was off with her mom Anna to live in New Mexico with her grandparents. However, Luke fights Anna for joint custody of April and wins — getting to spend time with her Christmas or Thanksgiving, spring break, and a month of the summer.

Vanessa joins a slew of other original stars including Alexis Bledel, Lauren Graham, Kelly Bishop, Yanic Truesdale, Liza Weil, Keiko Agena, Jared Padelecki, Matt Czuchry, Milo Ventimiglia, and David Sutcliffe.
