Star Wars' John Boyega Wins the Fan Vote at BAFTAs 2016!

John Boyega looks so handsome in his tux while walking the red carpet at the 2016 EE British Academy Film Awards held at the Royal Opera House on Sunday (February 14) in London, England.

The 23-year-old Star Wars: The Force Awakens actor picked up the EE Rising Star Award and posed with his trophy in the winners room backstage. He beat out Dakota Johnson, Brie Larson, Bel Powley, and Taron Egerton. The award was voted for by the public!

John revealed on the red carpet that he begins filming Star Wars: Episode VIII on Monday.

“I start tomorrow,” John told People. “I’ve got a 6 a.m. pickup tomorrow!”
