Stefanie Scott Is Ready To Push Beyond The Boundaries

Stefanie Scott makes a quick trip to the market in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon (February 17).

The 19-year-old actress recently spoke to Schon magazine about going past the boundaries of a former child star.

“I think for me, I’m just so in love with the work that I get to do now. Every character has been so different and so exciting. I finally get to tell real stories. I grew up on a kid’s show I guess, and everything had to be so perfect all the time. That’s what I love about now, and the characters I play. My goal is to make it as authentic as possible and not sugar coat things,” she shared.

Stefanie added about her next film, I.T. with Pierce Brosnan: “It’s a pretty dark thriller. It’s pretty sexy, actually. We barely wrapped in August. It was a powerful experience, but was also so much fun. I was really excited to try new things and I was definitely out of my comfort zone just because of how adult the material was. It didn’t make me uncomfortable, but I guess people get to see me in kind of a different way now. I had a really intense scene, it was really fun.”

Good to see her going the way of all other former child stars and doing a slutty role in a film before she turns 20.

    • Leonardo Pedroza

This is more recurrent in the Disney/Nick Childstars, they obviously don’t want to stay on the bubble of cookie cutter material, especially in the women.
