Shadowhunters' Jade Hassoun� Is A Huge 'Buffy' Fan & 10 Other Facts You Might Not Know

But there’s more to the Lebanese-Canadian actor than his piercing looks and JJJ caught up with Jade, who stars on Shadowhunters as Meliorn, where we learned 10 new things about him.

“There’s nothing more fun than to delve into a fantastic world and to embody a mystical creature,” Jade told us about playing the character on the hit Freeform show.

1. I have been drawing cartoons and creating comics since I was two! It is hilarious to revisit what I used to draw.

2. As a kid, I lived in Switzerland for three and a half years before I moved to Canada.

3. My favorite Disney movies are The Little Mermaid and Aladdin.

4. I am obsessed with pineapple juice. It’s too good.

5. I went to French school in Montreal through elementary/highschool.

6. During my teens, I trained as a hiphop dancer and used to coach a competitive team for kids.

7. I am probably the biggest Buffy the Vampire Slayer fanboy you will ever meet.

8. I do not own any pairs of socks. Only singles. I have no idea where they go. Help!

9. Once, with a dance group called Enigma Dance Productions, we were semi-finalists on Canada’s Got Talent.

10. I love to meditate.
