Saoirse Ronan Shines Light On Domestic Violence In Hozier's 'Cherry Wine' Video - Watch Now!

Saoirse Ronan uncovers her bruised eye in this moving new video for Hozier‘s “Cherry Wine”.

The 21-year-old Oscar nominee stars in the music video which shines a light on domestic abuse and all proceeds from the purchase of the song will be donated to domestic abuse charities #FaceUptoDomesticViolence campaign.

Hozier sings from the perspective of a male abuse sufferer. “I tried to get across the difficulty of coming to terms with and facing up to domestic violence and the dynamic of an abusive relationship,” he shared in a statement.

Saoirse added, “I hope through the video and song we can shine light on the issue and complexity of domestic abuse and in doing so help those caught up in the cycle of domestic violence.”
