Samantha Logan Lands Role in 'Cruel Intentions' Pilot!

Samantha Logan has been cast in the upcoming NBC pilot of Cruel Intentions, Deadline reports.

The 19-year-old 666 Park Avenue actress will play the spoiled stepdaughter of Sarah Michelle Gellar’s character Kathryn Merteuil, a role Sarah is reprising after appearing in the 1999 movie.

Taylor John Smith was also cast as Bash Casey, the son of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe’s characters from the movie.

The series picks up 15 years after the film left off and follows Kathryn as she battles for control over Valmont International and Bash’s soul.
