Young Hollywood cheered louder than anyone on Twitter after Leonardo DiCaprio won the Best Actor honor at the 2016 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (February 28) in Hollywood.
Stars like Dove Cameron, Rico Rodriguez, Calum Worthy, Jack Gilinsky, Ariel Winter, Ally Brooke, Ryan Ochoa and more wrote reactions on Twitter, excited that Leo won the award after being nominated a total of six times in the category.
“Ugh…Leo. I just…I just want to hold hands with everyone in a big circle that stretches around the entire world like in those cartoons,” Dove wrote as soon as he won. “Leo finally getting his Oscar is gonna be what unites us all. I feel like we all accomplished something today. This is a victory for us all.”
