Sam Smith Leaves Twitter After Dispute With Dustin Lance Black

Sam Smith heads out for a walk on Thursday (March 3) in New York City.

The 23-year-old singer wrote a cryptic message about signing off Twitter earlier in the week and has not tweeted since.

“I’m logging off for a while. Some Martinis shaken not stirred are definitely in order,” Sam wrote, referencing the James Bond franchise he won the Best Song Oscar for.

The day before, Dustin Lance Black clarified the tweet he had sent Sam that started their dispute, writing, “Well this has proven to be a lively day on Twitter.”
