Jena Malone Will Not Appear in Upcoming 'Batman v Superman' Movie

If you were going to see Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, because of Jena Malone, don’t.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the 31-year-old actress will not be appearing in the upcoming film which stars Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman.

Jena’s character — which was rumored to either be Barbara Gordon aka Batgirl or Carrie Kelley, the female Robin — has been cut from the two-hour long film. She will however surface in the R-rated Director’s Cut.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, also starring Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons and Holly Hunter, will hit theaters on March 25th.
