Shane Harper Joins 'Dirty Dancing' Remake as Waiter Robbie

Shane Harper is about to become the guy you love to hate.

The 23-year-old actor has joined the upcoming remake of Dirty Dancing, THR reports.

Shane, who you know from Good Luck Charlie and MTV’s Happyland, will play Robbie, the waiter who dates Lisa (Sarah Hyland) after getting Penny (Nicole Scherzinger) pregnant.

Dirty Dancing, which will be a musical this time around, is set in the early 1960s and centers on Baby (Abigail Breslin), an innocent young woman who vacations with her affluent parents at a Catskill Mountains resort and gets swept off her feet by Johnny (Colt Prattes), a handsome, working-class dance instructor.
