Daisy Ridley Confirms She Could Play Lara Croft in 'Tomb Raider' Reboot

Daisy Ridley is definitely in talks to play Lara Croft in an upcoming Tomb Raider movie.

The 23-year-old actress was reportedly in contention to play the role, and though she did confirm it, she said there is not a script at the moment.

“I’m waiting for someone to say ‘I want you, let’s do it’,” Daisy added. “Absolutely, I’m trying to fill up my calendar,” she continued, despite having a busy Star Wars filming schedule.

“I played Tomb Raider the game, it’s a new take and I think the movies are going to be based on that version,” Daisy‘s Star Wars co-star John Boyega said. “But I texted Daisy [and] was like, ‘this is you!’ and ‘you need to get on that because you could be Lara Croft.’ She should be.”
