Jennifer Lawrence Got Advice From Shirley MacLaine Early in Her Career

The 25-year-old Oscar winner got some special advice from actress Shirley MacLaine early in her career, Shirley recently told Entertainment Weekly.

“She was entirely different then. It was years ago and I don’t think she understood how good she really is,” Shirley said.

She said she advised Jennifer to “be yourself. Never basically leave Kentucky… Know who you are above all others.”
