Shawn Mendes Reveals His Dream Girl for 'Notion' Mag Cover Story

Shawn Mendes is ready for his close-up on the new cover of Notion magazine’s 72nd issue!

The 17-year-old Canadian singer opened up to the glossy about dating, knocking Justin Bieber out of the No. 1 spot on the charts, and more. Check it:

On his ideal girl: “I really like funny girls, girls with a witty sense of humour; so if someone is able to catch onto what I’m saying very quickly, I find that very attractive. I really like brunettes… and also, dancers! I have a thing for dancers!”

On Justin: “It feels awesome to be up there at Number One no matter who I’m booting off, I can’t believe it! I’ve hung with Justin a little bit, he’s a great guy; it’s really good for him… Sometimes things are hard and go wrong but props to him for turning it around and making a comeback, it’s impressive.”

On finishing school: “Whilst I have found I feel a lot more self-aware, I’ve matured a lot and I’ve been able to understand and grasp a lot more than I thought I was going to. You’re working all the time, 24/7, you are your own company, you’re in charge of your own brand, you’re in charge of your own product and you’ve gotta make sure that nothing goes wrong with that, on top of writing your new album, on top of school on the side… Yeah, I’m finishing 12th grade now, there’s a lot!”

I get the feeling that Shawn Mendes isn’t into girls…

Its sad when people like you reduce a good looking kid to a racial stereotype.
