The 27-year-old actress stopped by American Two Shot for a little shopping before celebrating National Puppy Day with her adorable pooch, Darla.

Vanessa is currently in Vancouver, filming the pilot for NBC’s Powerless.

She plays Emily Locke, who loves her job as an insurance claims adjuster but is getting frustrated by all the superheroes flying around. She also likes to keep her head down and just do her work.
