'Liv & Maddie' Grandmother Patty Duke Passes Away, Cast Remembers Her

Such sad news – longtime actress Patty Duke has died.

She was 69 years old. If you remember, Patty famously guest-starred on an episode of Liv and Maddie titled “Grandma-A-Rooney,” in which she played Grandma Janice and Great-Aunt Hillary.

Stars Jessica Marie Garcia, Joey Bragg, Shelby Wulfurt, producer John Beck, and more took to social media to remember their late co-star.

“Just woke up to the devastating news about #PattyDuke passing away,” Jessica wrote on Instagram. “I had the absolute pleasure of working with her last year on #livandmaddie and she was every bit the legend she was made out to be. I will hold our shared moments dear to my heart and may you rest in peace. Prayers to your family. (Appreciate each other)”
