Kat Graham Will Leave 'Vampire Diaries' After Season Eight

Kat Graham will be leaving The Vampire Diaries after season eight, she announced on Sunday (April 5).

The 26-year-old actress revealed that the next season will be her last while speaking to Us Weekly at the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

“I just hope that whatever I do after, the crew can come with me,” Kat said. “If the crew can come with me, then we’ll be good. The crew is going to be the hardest thing to let go, because we are a family.”

She added, “You know what, another season is a whole other year, and we’re going to blow it out.”

Kat has played witch Bonnie Bennett on the series since its first episode in 2009.
