'The Shannara Chronicles' Renewed For Second Season at MTV

The Shannara Chronicles is officially renewed for a second season!

MTV announced the news on Wednesday (April 20) about the series, which is based on the novel “The Elfstones of Shannara” by Terry Brooks.

The series is set thousands of years after the destruction of our civilization and follows an Elven Princess, Amberle, a half-human half-elf, Wil, and a human, Eretria, as they embark on a quest to stop a Demon army from destroying the Four Lands.

The show stars Austin Butler, Poppy Drayton, Ivana Baquero, Manu Bennett, John Rhys-Davies, Aaron Jakubenko, Daniel MacPherson, Emilia Burns, and James Remar.
