Selena Gomez looks incredible while belting out a song at Scotiabank Saddledome on Tuesday night during her Revivial World Tour stop in Calgary, Canada.
The 23-year-old performer recently explained to Vogue how she got ready for her tour by changing up her fitness routine, learning to breath better and creating her perfect dressing room.
On learning to breath: “Once we started rehearsing, I was doing Pilates, SoulCycle, every form of yoga. Basically, I wanted to mix things up because I get bored easily. I just try to keep it fresh. I love how Pilates makes me feel, like it opens me up. I have the hardest time breathing, weirdly enough. Even when I have conversations, I need to work on my breathing, so it’s something I enjoy because it’s peaceful and it helps me relax. And I’m doing two shows back to back [today], and that’s cardio in itself.”
On her new fitness routine: “I’ve never really had a personal trainer, but I started working with Amy [Rosoff Davis] last year. She’s incredible, I met her at Ballet Bodies in L.A., and we have a really fun friendship. About a month and a half ago is when I really buckled down, and at the moment, I’m training every day to build my stamina up for the tour. But don’t get me wrong—it was not like this before the tour.”
On her perfect dressing room: “I love having the same aroma in every room because it makes you feel like you’re at home, no matter where you are. I have two humidifiers, and I mix eucalyptus and lavender oil for every room I come into—even my bus. I’m also about lighting, so everything has to feel very cozy and warm. I love to set the mood; that‘s kind of my thing.”
