Brenda Song Hits CBS Upfronts With 'Pure Genius' Cast
Brenda Song hits the step and repeats in support of her new show, Pure Genius, during the 2016 CBS Upfronts at The Plaza on Wednesday (May 18) in New York City.
The 28-year-old actress joined her cast mates Ward Horton, Augustus Prew, Dermot Mulroney, Odette Annable, Reshma Shetty, and Aaron Jennings for the big event.
Pure Genius is a medical drama about James Bell (Prew), a young Silicon Valley tech titan, who enlists Walter Wallace (Mulroney), a brilliant veteran surgeon with a controversial past, to run a state-of-the-art hospital with an ultramodern approach to medicine.
Bell’s team of trailblazers includes Dr. Zoe Brockett (Annable), a fearlessly frank physician; Dr. Talaikha Channarayapatra (Shetty), an idealistic neurosurgeon; Dr. Malik Verlaine (Jennings), who is spearheading efforts to provide 24/7 health monitoring in poor neighborhood; Dr. Scott Strauss (Horton), an intense neurologist; and Angie Cheng (Song), an enthusiastic 3-D printer programming whiz.
The new series will air Thursdays @ 10PM ET/PT on CBS.
