Calvin Harris Injured in Car Crash, Suffers Laceration to His Face

Calvin Harris was rushed to the hospital on Friday night (May 20) after he was injured in a “violent car crash” caused by another driver.

The 32-year-old DJ and music producer suffered a laceration on his face and paramedics took him to a local Los Angeles hospital. As there were no private rooms available, Calvin allegedly “hopped off the gurney and left against medical advice,” according to TMZ.

“Adam’s transport was involved in a collision this evening on the way to the airport. As a result he will be unable to perform at Omnia tonight. He has been examined by doctors and told to rest for a few days,” Calvin‘s reps said in a statement on Facebook. His Las Vegas concert on Saturday night had to be canceled.

Calvin was a passenger in a Cadillac SUV that night when a VW bug, reportedly filled with teenagers and driven by a 16-year-old girl, crossed the center line and crashed into his car. A passenger sitting on a lap was ejected from the car and she was taken to the hospital along with the driver.
