Emeraude Toubia Serves As Get Schooled Celebrity Prinicipal For the Day at Middle College High

Emeraude Toubia tries to get everyone into a big group shot during her time as Celebrity Principal For The Day as part of the Get Schooled Campaign on Monday (May 23).

The 28-year-old Shadowhunters actress served as Middle College High School’s principal for the day, rewarding the staff and students after they won the 2016 Get Schooled College Challenge. The school beat out 79 other high schools from around the country to earn the crown and a $2,500 grant.

As celebrity principal, Emeraude led an all-school rally to celebrate the students’ persistence and success.

As part of the 2016 College Challenge, a friendly competition sponsored by Get Schooled and the Commission aimed at boosting FAFSA completion rates, 100 percent of all Middle College High School seniors submitted a FAFSA or a California Dream Act (CADA) application, up 22 percent from the prior year. The Challenge was supported by Comcast Internet Essentials.
