Christina Grimmie Will Be Laid to Rest This Week at Private Funeral

Christina Grimmie will be laid rest to in her home state of New Jersey later this week.

The 22-year-old singer was tragically murdered by a deranged fan on Friday night (June 10) after her concert in Florida. The shooter then took his own life after being tackled by Christina‘s brother.

The Associated Press reports that a viewing will be held on Friday (June 17) at Fellowship Alliance Chapel in Medford, NJ and a memorial service will happen there later that night.

Christina‘s funeral will be a private ceremony for family and close friends. “It’s just going to be a small, intimate gathering for her family and close friends,” a source told People.

Family and friends, including Mark Grimmie, honored Christina‘s life during a candlelight vigil on Monday night in New Jersey.
