Nick Jonas Dedicates MMVAs Win to Orlando Shooting Victims

Nick Jonas hits the stage to accept the award for International Artist of the Year at the 2016 MuchMusic Video Awards on Sunday night (June 19) at MuchMusic HQ in Toronto, Canada.

The 23-year-old singer paid tribute to the victims of the Orlando shooting during his acceptance speech.

“It’s been a tough couple of weeks—a lot of hate and violence in the world—but it’s moments like this where we can all come together and celebrate the good times and be full of joy and happiness,” Nick said. “It’s a beautiful thing so thank you for this. I dedicate this to all the families and victims of the shootings recently. We love you and we have not forgotten.”

Nick also performed his song “Close” sans collaborator Tove Lo during the show. Watch below!
