Dove Cameron & Garrett Clayton Join the Cast of 'Hairspray Live'

It was just announced that Dove Cameron and Garrett Clayton are joining the cast of NBC’s upcoming production of Hairspray Live!

The 20-year-old Liv and Maddie actress and the 25-year-old Teen Beach Movie actor will star as Amber Von Tussle and Link Larkin!

They’re joining an incredible cast that already includes Kristin Chenoweth, Martin Short, Jennifer Hudson, Derek Hough and more!

In the production, Dove will be playing the daughter of Kristin‘s character Velma Von Tussle, reuniting them as mother-daughter following their work in the Disney Channel movie Descendants!

Hairspray Live will be filmed in Los Angeles and will air live on Wednesday, December 7 at 8pm!
